📺 Living Room TV

  1. Use the apps on the Apple TV (on HDMI 2). Open them right on the Apple TV with the remote: YouTube TV (live TV), YouTube, Plex, and Disney+.
  2. AirPlay mirroring — send the screen from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to the TV (tap Screen Mirroring / AirPlay and pick the Apple TV).
  3. Sound comes through the Sonos soundbar + surround system automatically.
⚠️ Don't use the LG TV's own built-in menus/apps — always go through the Apple TV.

No separate adapter to dig out — the J1772 adapter is built into the handle. Teslas: pull the connector off the dock by the handle and plug straight in (native NACS). Other EVs (J1772): with the connector docked, press the button on the handle and pull — it releases with the J1772 adapter already attached, ready to plug into your car.

⚡ Delivers up to 7.7 kW (240V, 32A) — a steady overnight charge for any car. Your vehicle controls the charge level, so it's fine to leave plugged in.

It's on the home network — pick it from the printer list on your Mac or phone. If it doesn't appear, make sure you're on Hye--Fi and the printer is powered on.

🎬 Plex (Movies & TV)

Open the Plex app on the Apple TV, your phone, or any computer and sign in with the household Plex account. It works both at home and away.

There are 3 libraries on Ycloud: Movies, TV Shows, and Home Videos.

📷 Photos & Shared Files

Family photos and shared files live on the home NAS. Access them with Synology Photos and File Station via QuickConnect — sign in with your account from the app or a browser.

💾 Backups

Everyone should keep their files in OneDrive so they're backed up and synced across your devices. Storing files on Ycloud (the DiskStation) also counts as an acceptable backup. If it's not in one of those, it isn't backed up.

📞 Something Not Working?

Start with the basics: is the device on Hye--Fi? Try turning it off and on. For TV issues, restart the Apple TV (Settings → System → Restart). Still stuck? Ask Mesrobot above.
